What I do
If your operation depends on seasonal visitors, bookings, or events, there's usually more revenue, profit, or efficiency available than the numbers currently show, even if it's not always obvious where from day to day. I help heritage sites, visitor attractions, and tourism businesses find and capture that: better pricing, a stronger group offer, smarter resourcing, a smoother seasonal flow, a more effective digital presence. Twenty-five years running operations like these, from large-scale travel operations to my own luxury business and a heritage site turnaround, is what the recommendations draw on. My background if you want to learn more, is on the About page.
I start with a fixed-price review, agreed together before booking rather than fitted to a template. For a physical site, that means walking it the way a paying visitor would, then looking behind it: pricing, group offer, resourcing, seasonal flow, digital presence. For a trade or booking-led operation, the same diagnostic applies to booking flow, partner relationships, and conversion instead, built from having sourced and run these systems myself, not just reviewed them. If something clearly needs more digging than a day or two allows, that's named in the report as a clear next step.
There are two formats: Snapshot, a one-day visit, and Standard, two days. Which one's right depends on what needs looking at.
Either way, you get a written report with specific, sequenced recommendations, ready to act on in your own time, with no obligation to go further.
Beyond the diagnostic
Some clients take the report and put it into action themselves. Others want a hand implementing the recommendations, scoped to what the diagnostic found. For some, this becomes an ongoing fractional role: continued input as things develop, agreed and sized to what's needed.
Let's talk about what you need
